“Eagle Response 18” is an explosive ordinance disposal and diving exercise conducted by the US, Egypt and other participating nations to enhance interoperability and warfighting readiness, fortify military-to-military relationships and advance operational capabilities of all participating units.

Scheduled events include underwater detonation drills, unmanned underwater vehicle operations and anti-terrorism/force protection dives.

Eagle Response 2018 is part of Eagle Salute 2018, a surface exercise designed to enable participating nations to collaborate across a wider range of maritime security operations.
