Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry organized on Tuesday, Oct. 16 a visit for foreign diplomats and members of the foreign embassies in Cairo to the New Administrative Capital.
Assistant Foreign Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs Ismail Khairat stressed that the visit comes within the framework of the ministry’s keenness to illustrate the efforts exerted in establishing the new capital, shedding light on the diplomatic missions’ opportunities to get their own headquarters in the capital.
Khairat added that Chairman of the New Administrative Capital Company Ahmed Zaki Abdeen welcomed the delegation at the beginning of the visit.
Abdeen highlighted the efforts exerted by the company to complete the New Administrative Capital on time and according to the highest quality standards.
Abdeen also responded to all inquiries of the members of the delegation.
Khairat pointed out that the delegation will have a field visit to inspect the governmental and diplomatic district in the New Administrative Capital to review the company’s efforts on the ground.
The delegation included 42 ambassadors and 111 diplomatic members.
