Minister of Military Production Mohamed el-Assar met with Vice President of Rheinmetall Air Defense Fabian Ochsner during the International Defense and Security Industry Exhibition “EDEX-2018” that runs from December 3-5.
“Our meeting represents an opportunity to discuss the coming mutual projects. We have had fruitful cooperation with Rheinmetall that encourages us to further boost our mutual cooperation in military production,” Assar said.
In the same regard, Ochsner stated, “I am so proud to be contributing in such a huge exhibition where opportunities to hold various agreements with Egyptian companies and international ones are available.”
Moreover, Ochsner welcomed further cooperation especially after the remarkable progress in the Egyptian technology and capabilities.
Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi inaugurated on Monday the International Defense and Security Industry Exhibition “EDEX-2018”, which is hosted for the first time in North Africa.
Ten Defense Ministries from the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Sudan, France, Greece, Cyprus, South Sudan, Cameroon, Somalia and South Korea are attending the exhibition.
