Security authorities detained six people pending investigations over attacking and beating a young man with disability inside a barbershop in Sharqia governorate, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior on Aug. 22.
Two days ago, the defendants were arrested after a video went viral on social media showing them beating a man with mental disability inside the barbershop at Kafr Ibrash village in Sharqia.
They confessed their crime and the shop’s owner accused the man with disability of stealing speakers from a Tuk-tuk.
