CAIRO – 27 June 2022: Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah al Sisi will embark in a tour, Monday that includes Oman and Bahrain to discuss the bilateral ties between Egypt and both of the two Gulf states, according to presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady.

He added in a statement, that the two visits come as part of the specificity of the Egyptian-Gulf relations, and what links Egypt to the ‘two brotherly countries’ in terms of cooperation at all levels.

Rady stated that president Sisi will hold discussions with both of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik, and King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during his tour and that he will be discussing with both leaders the close bilateral relations that unite Egypt with the two countries.

The discussions will also include consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues and conflicts during the current stage, which require ‘concerted efforts to protect Arab national security’ and ‘confront attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries and destabilize them’.
