The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects warm weather on Friday across the country’s north and hot temperatures in south during the day.
However, very cold weather is expected across the country overnight.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast and in Lower Egypt, Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and the Suez Canal cities.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north coast, accompanied by light rains in South Sinai and the country’s southern parts.
Winds are anticipated to be moderate and mostly northeasterly in direction.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters high, with southwesterly surface wind, while waves in the Red Sea will be light and range between 0.5 and 1 meter with northeasterly surface winds.
