Mo Salah breaks record of highest scoring African player in EPL history

The Egyptian team right-winger and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has overtaken the former striker of Chelsea Didier Drogba as the highest scoring African player in English Premier League history after scoring his 30th goal against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Other records that Salah has broken in Premier League history include him ranking first on the list of having scored five goals more than the nearest competitor.

He also ranks third in the list of the most prolific players in a single season in the history of the Liverpool team, scoring 40 goals in various tournaments.

Salah also became the eighth player to score 30 goals in one season in the history of the Premier League.

The Egyptian king also became the first Arab player to score 30 goals in one season in the English Premier League and 40 goals in his first season with Liverpool in various tournaments.

Mo Salah has only seven goals left in all tournaments to surpass Roger Hunt’s record of scoring the most goals for Liverpool in a single season and he has already joined Hunt and Ian Rush as the only Reds players to have scored 40 times in a single season.
