President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi mourned the victims of an attack carried out on Friday on a bus carrying Copts near a monastery in Upper Egypt’s Minya, a governorate that has witnessed numerous terror attacks over years.
At least 7 people were killed in the scene, according to an anonymous security source.
“I deeply grieve for the martyrs who fell [dead] today by treacherous hands that seek to undermine the cohesive fabric of the homeland,” President Sisi said on Facebook.
