Salah responds to his critics in the best way

Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, led his team to achieve a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at home at the Premier League on Sunday night to keep his team in the league title race.

Salah did not put an end to his goal drought but he was the main reason behind Liverpool’s late winning goal that secured the three points for the Reds.

Beside the league title race, Salah has his own race to win the Premier League top goal scorer after he secured the award last season.

“I don’t care so much if the goal is mine of not. As long as we get the three points that is the main thing. The goal is not very important; if they give it to me or not I don’t care,” Salah told skysports after the game.

Two minutes before the final whistle, the score was 1-1 at Anfield and the home team needed a hero to gain the three points.

Salah received a wonderful cross from Trent Alexander Arnold and his header was dropped by the visitors’ goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, onto the legs of his teammate, Toby Alderweireld, who failed to control the ball and scored an own goal.

Salah added, “There are three or four players that no one is talking about or saying that they are having a good season, while I am the only one who is having a bad season.”

Liverpool are leading the league title with 79 points, two points ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City, who still have a postponed game.
