Meteorological experts said a hot weather to prevail on Wednesday, recording highs of 42°C and lows of 31°C in Cairo.
The heat wave will hit the eastern coasts, and is expected to relent gradually, where the temperature decreases in the western parts of the country.
Other governorates will be affected by the hot weather differently as follows:
Alexandria: highs of 32°C and lows of 25°C
Marsa Matrouh: highs of 32°C and lows of 24°C
Sohag: highs of 45°C and lows of 29°C
Qena: highs of 45°C and lows of 29°C
Aswan: highs of 45°C and lows of 30°C
