The cabinet will hold on Wednesday its first weekly meeting at the new government headquarters at New Alamein City.
The meeting is set to discuss several political, economic and social issues in addition to citizens’ needs.
In press statement, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said holding the cabinet’s meeting for the first time at New Alamein City is a key message that work will continue in the new urban city throughout the year and not just during summer months.
He added that the new city has residential areas that accommodate up to 3 million people, trade, tourist and industrial regions in addition to universities and other services buildings.
