Cairo introduces two hotlines to report coronavirus

There is constant contact and full coordination with state facilities to deal with coronavirus, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal said Wednesday.

There is also contact especially with public hospitals, the ambulance authority, clubs, mosques and churches and other places social places to take the required precautions. The government has already demanded to reduce large gatherings to the minimum.

The hotlines 114, 01205734449 and 23912136 are now dedicated to receiving calls about coronavirus, whether to report suspected cases or ask for guidelines.

A group of 46 French and US tourists left Egypt after they had tested negative for Coronavirus. The tourists were on board a Nile cruise which carried 45 others who tested positive for the virus.

Out of Egypt’s 60 confirmed coronavirus cases, the people who have tested negative amounted to 25 Tuesday after receiving the appropriate healthcare.

The condition of the 26 people is stable and they are still in the quarantined hospital in Matrouh, being treated according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.
