Former US Ambassador to Egypt Frank Wisner thanked the Egyptian people and political leadership for handing medical assistance to the United States in the face of the novel coronavirus pandemic, as he was hosted by the American Pulse, an Egyptian TV program on Al-Qahera Wal Nas.

Wisner said the assistance shipment reflects the good spirt of Egyptians toward the American people, regardless of the amount of aid provided.

Also, Virginia Senator Richard Black has praised the efforts made by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in combating terrorism and dealing with terrorist groups in the region. He described Sisi as one of the most important presidents currently.

Concerning the recent aid, Black described such act as wise and said the US will always remember this stance.

Black also hailed Egypt’s firm stance toward the legitimate governments, including the efforts to reinforce the cohesion of neighboring states and prevent them from being divided, in an effort to preserve the sovereignty of these states, including Libya and Syria.

Black also condemned the role played by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in destabilizing Egypt.
