The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) released a report Sunday highlighting international assessment of Egypt’s performance during the first half of 2020 at the economic, social and environmental levels.

The report also focused on international forecasts for Egypt in the coming stage.

This is the second edition of the report – the first was published in 2019.

Indeed, Egypt has made quantum leaps in 2020 that pushed the country up six positions to 67th on the Global Labor Resilience Index according to Whiteshield Partners, and placed Cairo number 24 of the world’s most economically influential cities according to CIO International.

The UNCTAD also said that Egypt came first in terms of direct foreign investments (FDIs) going to Africa.

Egypt was also the one-and-only country to achieve positive growth among the top five countries that best attracted FDIs in 2019.

At the social level, Egypt could, for the first time, be listed on the Bloomberg Innovation Index and came 58th.
