Egypt strongly condemned a shooting at a school in the Russian city of Kazan which left seven children and two adults killed and 21 other people, mostly children, injured.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement late Wednesday night that the Egyptian government and people extend their deepest condolences to the Russian government and people, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
Egypt stands in solidarity with Russia during this saddening and painful time, it added.
