Egypt’s Interior Ministry takes legal action against 12,300 for not wearing masks

CAIRO, June 19 (MENA) -The Interior Ministry on Saturday announced it took legal measures against 12,300 persons over the past 24 hours for not wearing face masks.

As many as 1,002 violations of shop closure decisions were also detected, said the ministry in a statement.

The move falls within the framework of the cabinet’s decision on taking all needed preventive measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, the statement added.
