Egypt’s Handball national team will face Argentina on Monday night at the third game of the 2019 World Men’s Handball Championship held in Denmark and Germany.
It is a “win or die” game for the Egyptian team to keep their chances to reach the second round as the team lost their first two games to Sweden and Qatar, respectively.
The World Cup draw put Egypt in Group D alongside Sweden, Hungary, Qatar, Argentina and Angola.
The Egyptian team has had a great performance against four-time world champions, Sweden, and they were close to get at least a draw against the European giants but the team’s lack of experience cost Egypt the game at the last minutes.
Egyptian fans expected another fine display against Qatar but the team’s performance was disappointing and Egypt lost the game 28-23.
On the other hand, Argentina ended the first game against Hungary with a draw and they lost the second game 31-16 to Sweden.
Egypt’s remaining games at the group stage will be on Wednesday and Thursday against Hungary and Angola, respectively.
