Security reinforcement in vicinity of vital institutions ahead of Eid al-Adha

Ahead of Eid Al-Adha festivals, Egyptian security forces reinforced its presence nationwide, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior on Friday.

More forces stationed in the vicinity of parks, gardens and beaches to prevent possible violations of the government’s decisions on precautionary measures against the new Coronavirus (COVDI-19) pandemic.

On desert roads, more police forces were deployed to secure movement of cars and vehicles especially those heading towards Upper Egypt, while more reinforcement in the vicinity of railway and metro stations.

On July 20, 2020, Egypt’s Dar Al Ifta announced Monday that Friday July 31 will be the first day of Eid al Adha (Festival of the Sacrifice) and Wednesday July 29 is the first day of Haj [pilgrimage] rituals.

The Egyptian Dar Al Ifta congratulated the Egyptian people and the Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi and the rest of the Arab world’s leaders for the occasion, wishing the Islamic world all the blessings and peace of the Almighty.
