Egypt’s armed forces killed a suicide bomber and foiled the terrorist attack on Thursday morning near a security checkpoint early Thursday in North Sinai’s Sheikh Zuweid , the military spokesman revealed.
He announced also the death of “one of the heroes of the armed forces.”
“As a result of the vigilance of the security elements, the terrorist individual was targeted before reaching the security [checkpoint], which led to the explosion of the explosive belt and the elimination of the terrorist individual, and resulted in the death of one of the heroes of the armed forces,” the spokesman stated.
